Sewing Night at Cloth and Bobbin

The Philly Modern Quilt Guild had its first sewing night of the New Year on Friday, January 27, 2012.  Several of us spent the evening sewing, chatting and shopping at Cloth and Bobbin in Narberth.  Thanks to Johanna for inviting us!

Anna spent the evening hand sewing 2 quilts.  She's sewing the binding on her Central Park quilt.

Eileen hand sewing and Danette piecing using cool shades of blue, gray and green.  That’s Johanna in the back sitting at the desk!

Angie worked on a star quilt.

We loved her color choice!

Janet plugged away at a jelly roll quilt blocks, but she didn’t use a jelly roll, she used fabric from her stash!

Sher worked on finishing one of the T-Shirt quilts she made for her children.

And of course the photographer didn’t take pictures of her own work!  Michelle worked on ½ square triangles for a Kate Spain Central Park quilt, then a little free motion practice.

  1. I love that-shirt quilt! It's a great way to reuse old ones, too. You've just inspired me to make one made up of shirts from my favorite t shirt manufacturers.
