July 2016 Meeting Recap

July's meeting began with a talk by Carol Sulcoski about Copyright.  We learned about the ins and outs of copyright as it pertains to the quilting world.

Some announcements from the meeting:
- This Saturday is the day for Jurying quilts for the Mancuso Quilt Show.  (10-2)
- The Executive Officer's Election will be held during the September's meeting.  Email Michelle if you are interested in running for a position.
- Beginning in September, all member communication will be via our member's only page on Facebook.
- Proposed updates to the Guild's Bylaws will be emailed to members prior to August's meeting and will be reviewed at the August meeting and voted on during September's meeting.
- Look for full minutes from the meeting to be uploaded on the member's FB site by Nicole soon!

Christmahanukwanza in July Sewing Day

Our annual Christmahanukwanza in July Sewing Day was held this past Saturday.  We look forward to this sewing day every year!  A dozen members spent the day wither getting started on Holiday presents, or continuing current projects.
