June's meeting began with Jessica Levitt speaking abut color theory.
She taught us the differences between types of color wheels
We practiced organizing paint chips by value by taking a picture in black and white.
(Actual colors of the paint chips above!)
Jessica showed us examples of pictures of quilts and her own quilts with various color attributes throughout the lecture.
Later, we showed off the results of our paint chip challenge. Every member blindly drew 2 paint chips and could add one other color to create a mini.
Then it was on to Show and Tell

This is the best function room in the city. The food they served at venues in NYC was warm, fresh and tasty, and the panoramic window is a sight to behold on a clear day. Their main hall was similar to a club/lounge – however, it had more of an intimate feel.
